Chip Kelly is a class act...you should have saw him last year literally having to chase Pete Carroll down and shake his hand after the Oregon game last year. Pete was not having it, but Chip keep trying...and eventually he got his hand shake.

Addressed Tennesse. Very respectful. Seems like a nice guy. Basically says there are a ton of unknowns, because of the new staff we have. In fact, he said he's studied more La. Tech and Boise film than UT film.

Coach Kelly's Press Conference - Tennessee Week - GoDucks.com

Living in the Northwest, I see more Pac10 than Sec(unfortunately). Oregon's program has always impressed me. They have had a few more non football problems lately, but fewer than most. Having said all that, I hope we kick the $@#% out of them Saturday!

A couple of things:

1. Everything he said was pretty much on the money.
2. GOD awful uniforms to match the press conference set.
3. Could you imagine opening up phone lines to talk with DD during his press conference, and hearing the operator say "no one on the line". WOW.

Did Kelly actually say "yesss" when the screaner said there were no callers on the line? At least he doesnt get the Vol Calls callers...

Screeaner: OK caller you are next please dont ask the coach how he is doing.

Caller: Hey coach how are you doing?

Coach: Fine Dakota how are you?

Caller: I'm ok I just was wondern that I have saw in the past that you played good on defense and I seen you shut them out Saturday and I was just wondern if you are going to play good again..I'll hang up and listen

It's good to see a fellow Northwest Vol fan on here. But I couldn't help but notice you mentioning that you see more Pac-10 than SEC games. Since about 2001 or so, I tend to see more SEC games here. CBS, ESPN and now ESPN3 has helped that tremendously. If you have the internet and a basic television, you can watch every single SEC game. No need to worry about getting blacked out up here, yes! Anyway, I get tired of the Pac-10 despite living here for so long. I live in Spokane, Washington State is the team we here from the most. You know where I'm getting with this, haha

Kelly said it was suppose to be 87 deg. with 68% humidity on Saturday. I just looked and he got the temp right, but I am seeing the humidity from 79% - 86%. The later it gets the more the humidity is suppose to rise. Hopefully this will take a toll on the ducks as the game goes on.

LOL he was saying yesssss when there was no calls. Happy or stupid feeling reaction?

I was amazed at the lack of calls and questions from the media. Football and its fans, media included, is definitely different here in the south.

Watch his face when he is asked about the stadium in the very beginning. He isn't quite sure how his team is going to handle it. I wouldn't call it fear but I would say he has some honest concern.

I've been saying it all week and I mean no disrespect to the Autzen Zoo but there isn't a venue in the Pac-10 that can prepare you for an SEC stadium.
that is one of the great things about a game like this, challenging yourself with the unknown. should be a hella good game
