This isn't the best choice remaining....far from it! He had ALL the components to win big at T A&M and couldn't do it....

Les Miles is the superior coach......hands down!

No problems with Sumlin, are there a few others ahead of him I want more, sure. But heck of a lot better then the other hot garbage that’s been trotted out this far.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd rather have Miles over Sumlin IF we could get a brilliant OC and solid DC to go with Miles

Les Miles had more components for more years and couldn’t get (or better yet, stay) over the hump. Horrible in-game coach, wasted a TON of talent (especially on offense), and is possibly insane/simple

Believe there are better options still on the board. I wasn't impressed with what he has done at Texas A&M before they Fired him. That being said , he is heads above Schiano(sp) and the other Dooleyalikes. The first thing we need to focus on is firing John Currie and replacing him with either David Blackburn or Phillip Fulmer. Then let them coordinate a search for our next HC.

With top shelf coordinators he could have immediate results. Not championship results but good ones. The older players would most likely be able to adjust quickly to the schemes. It would give him time to put in place his players and not have to completely rebuild.

Sure, Kiffin is a much better coach. We will be competitive for SEC titles under him. I was as pissed off as anyone that he left. Why? Because he would have won by here.

Sumlin is a poorer version of Richt. All that talent but good for, unlike Richt, at least three or four losses that make you shake your head. It’s well known he has personal issues. At least A&M posters have said that for years. And his records went south after his first year. If you are ok with that, going 7-5, 8-4, then good luck. Personally I want better

What makes you think you will be competing for championships with kiffen. Explain?
