This stat right here is going to kill us come SEC time...

Chris Lofton, JuJuan Smith, and Jordan Howell are....

110-280 on FGA
81-218 on 3PT FGA

That means that our top 3 shooters are only hitting 29-62 from inside the arc. I could deal with a 60% 2PT to 40% 3PT ratio, but not a 23% 2PT to 77% 3PT ratio. This could be bad news in the future if we don't have better shot selection.

why? the offensive threat that those guys truly pose is in the power of the 3 point bucket. Howell and Lofton shooting tons of 2s would be nothing to rejoice about.

I think the Texas game could have been much closer had we went inside and got proper shot selection. Being 10-34 from inside the 3PT line has me more concerned than our ability to shot 3's in that game. This team hasn't had a real good shot selection all year and needs to get more balanced before SEC time.

which of those inside guys leads you to believe that they're a better option than JSmith, CLo or Howell from the 3?

I agree that we need more balance, but I haven't seen an inside option that would make an opposing D pay attention.

Tyler Smith may end up being the best player on the roster "this year" with no offense to Lofton. If we haven't got the shot selection more balanced by SEC time we will get beat at least 4-6 times in SEC play.
