Ok, my plan is almost up and it's time to ditch this old, junky chocolate... (had it replaced 6 times now).

I'm going for it all this time though. I'm considering the semi-new Glyde, the new Dare, or the new Titanium (but still the same I assume) Voyager... also is the voyager basically Verizon's spin of the iphone?

It seems like the Voyager still has an edge on all these phones with all of its different capabilities (not 100% though)... but lacks the newness and sleekness factor of the two newer phones. I'm not sure exactly but I'm guessing the mobile TV is the major advantage that it has.. anything else? Can the other two browse the net?

Maybe something will come out even better than the Voyager by October when I order my new phone... I'm just worried the Voyager may be pretty old by the time I get it.

What would you do?

had to Voyager for about 2 months and then the screen messed up magically..switched to the Dare. It's a awesome, awesome phone so far. Just got my orange cover for it today, so it's more badass now.

Just switched to Verizon and got the Env2. Love it.

I'd say the Dare is more like Verizon's iphone. That's what I would go with. If you wanna browse the net and stuff make sure you get a data plan or you will pay tons on your bills.

if you text a lot though, like me, i wouldn't advise it. If you do text a lot go with the voyager. just be careful with it.

Get a Voyager and a screen protector. They are fragile, and you're screwed if the touch screen stops working. Other than that they are great.

My wife has decided on the Glyde instead of the Dare. She wants a tactile response from the keyboard. :dunno:

If I had to pick, I'd grab the Dare, no doubt.

man that would keep me from ever buying one. I did look at the Voyager before I got my BB but didn't like it at all (just felt cheap). Now my BB can take a beating (and chewing from a dog) and keeps working fine.

Eh, Blackberrys are a little on the fragile side, IMO. From my experience, LG phones (except the Chocolate) are the hardiest, by far.

Hmmmm... I do text quite a bit... but seeing how the Dare can use T9 or qwerty I think I'd manage just fine since I'm used to T9. The Voyager seems like its just been out quite awhile and would be outdated in about a few months after I bought it.. where the Dare would atleast be top of the line for awhile longer... unless the Voyager has added new stuff since it was released.

One thing that you mentioned, that you should note... even though the Dare is the top LG model, it does NOT include VCast Mobile TV.

Yeah, that's a nice feature but I'm not going to be too hung up on that.. I'd be 100% for the Dare if I was sure it was still good for messaging and fairly durable like the voyager..

Depending on the size of your fingers, the touchscreen keypad should be pretty easy to get used to.

VCast TV doesn't have coverage in Knoxville. I wouldn't even have that factor into the decision until it is made available in more places. I'd go w/ the Dare.

I don't even find it as a valuable feature. Just wanted to make sure that was understood.
