Ole Miss was 14 point underdogs. Look at all those fat Bammers heading to the exits early.

Well that's not true. If you bet $100 and lose, you lose $100. Bet $100 and win, the bookie takes the juice from your winnings.
What ass backwards bookie is making you pay an additional $10 after losing a $100 bet?
Every bookie I've ever been with has made you pay juice..Been with about 10 different ones..What bookie takes money from your winnings? Never heard of that...Those a holes make money on you every time you bet .Why would I pay a person a fee just to bet..Surely I must be missing the blue font
Here's one article explaining this game's spread and it's movement:

In the last 24 hours, the big money has been pouring in on the Vols.

Every bookie you've been with you pay a $100, lose, then pay $10 more? You need to find a new bookie
You win and only get $90 out of $100 maybe you need a new one. Never seen the winner pay but 10% is coming from one side or the other. Unless you win all the time or lose all the time it equals out. What's so unbelievable? I don't gamble anymore but I did at one time with several different bookies and they all worked the same. Once a week we settled up and I collected full amount on wins and paid +10% on losses.
 Wish I could be there. I'm so glad this rivalry game is back like it should be -- two great, storied, proud programs fielding great teams. I'm pumped & ready -- including wisky & ceegar! Roll Tide!!!!!!!!Thanks, Tidal. I've been trying to explain this on two different threads. Very helpful and I hope it's as good a game as we all want. No injuries and may the best team win... See 'ya there. GO VOLS!!!

A point spread is not a Vegas prediction on the outcome of the game.
You can certainly use it as a proxy on how competitive the game "should be," but that is not what it actually is.
I don't care what Vegas says... We were a 17 point dog at Bama last year and almost won, so I believe we that WGWTFA!!!!
