Vandy Rivals board thinks Kyle Phillips is transferring.

Doesn't matter if he was interested in Vandy of Ole Miss, we would most certainly bar him from going to any SEC school anyway. There's no truth behind this rumor.

Tells you the degree of their stupidity. He couldn't go to vandy or ole piss if he wanted. And why? Jump on two sinking ships?

What? Ole Miss is 9-3 and currently have the #1 recruiting class. I wish we were a sinking ship like that.

Exactly. No way they release him to with Ole Miss or (especially) Vandy.

They addressed this. Said he'd go to JUCO for a year then transfer back to the SEC.

Not to imply there's any truth to this but Butch needs to not have any major defections this year. We've lost a bunch of highly ranked kids the last couple of years. It's been a real issue. And Phillips was a 5*. Also a highly intelligent kid and from tn to boot. Hopefully there's nothing to this

I don't see why Phillips would transfer. He got solid playing time before his injury. He is a beast. And Phillips would definitely not go to vandy IF he was to transfer. That would be an insult to him to go to such a sucky team.

Phillips wants to join a team on the rise, which will be contending for championships very soon. That team is Vandy

I don't buy it either, but his mom is a Vandy alum. With that said, he had an opportunity to attend Vandy already and passed. Not sure why that would suddenly change.

I completely agree, but I'm still shaking my head at Hendrix decision to transfer so I never assume that common sense has anything to do with these decisions.

In addition to 'football' 'recruiting' and others, the mods need a 'chicken little' forum to toss this stuff into.

KP has a great situation in Knoxville and transferring will not improve things for him at all. Plus he'd have to sit a year. Dumb.
