Where is our Vanderbilt Pregame discussion thread ? We're only a day away now, it should have been started days ago...

I watched Miss State beat up on Vandy the other night. Ogilvy(if thats how you spell it) is there go to guy. Chism will have his hands full....if he can stay out of foul trouble. They still have some guys that can shoot. We can't give them open looks.

He has shut down some very good big men this year, but then gets lost in the mix during the games he should dominate.

To me, that shows nothing but mental immaturity.

I like vandy's interior D a lot, but they're ugly from outside offensively and can neither protect nor steal the ball well.

That said, I don't have a good feeling about the game unless robvols is hosting.

I hope Chism posterizes Ogilvy all game long, there's just something about him I don't like. It should be a great game, it's tough to get a win there. Not looking forward to UK going there. Beale can shoot it, but they aren't nearly as good as they were last year.

Mississippi state is definetly a surprise this year, do you guys play them in Starkville or home?

Should be a great game. Really hate playing there though...such a weird set up. Feel like this team is going to come together. Hopson finally showed what he is capable of. Chism has got to stay out of foul trouble...he is yet to prove he can. Tyler is the man. Go Vols!

I think it will be alittle closer....Vols 76 Vandy 69. Hoping for a repeat Scotty Hopson performance. Go Vols!

I don't like our chances with that ridiculous court configuration, but maybe someone will step up. At least they don't have Foster anymore.

This Jeffrey Taylor kid is something of a concern: shoots well, boards excellently, doesn't give the ball up, draws fouls, steals effectively. That sounds like a handful.

Beal's not so bad himself, but beyond those 3(Ogilivy of course) it's pretty thin, though I suppose tinsley is a bit better than functionally average.

They're a middling offense, which could be just what UT needs after the last few games, and while defensively they're stout, their huge inability to force turnovers means we if we can just find one hot hand from outside we should be able to walk away with a win before the suddenly-do-or-die-ish game with Memphis.

This is an interesting game. I think the vols win by 10 as long as some defense is played. Hopefully Chism will step up tomorrow.

That gym is worth 8 points a game easy.... should be ruled illegal IMO.

Stallings is a hell of a good coach. You always have to be wary when you go up against him. He scouts teams as well as anyone.
