Hi all, Going to vandy for the first time, any thoughts on where to park for the game?

Anyone else from memphis area headed their to?

I'll be tailgating with Vandy fans, reppin' my Vol stuff on Natchez... Come by and say hi... I'm sure in that area, I'll probably be one of the few vol fans in that tailgating area...

As far as parking, I have no idea... I ride with them down there, and they drop us off on Natchez, and then the driver comes back later after parking. But usually, there is plenty of parking around that area, being as it's in downtown nashville....

From reading the map, it looks like parking should be off West End Dr. on 30th or 31st, iirc.

Will leave out of memphis bout 5 so i should be in vandy around 9 at latest, early enough?

Any ideas how much their parking is running ?

I'm going. Doing the game tomorrow, some bluegrass club tomorrow night, then the Titan's on Sunday.

As far as parking, I think I can walk from my hotel downtown.

Where bouts? Checking their map I'll try and park in that area of Natchez and 31st

i don't know that area, but if you see a huge vandy tailgate with a large man smoking a whole hog that is my uncle, offer him a beer and you found yourself some food

he was their tailgater of the year last year

You shouldn't have a problem just park and walk a bit is all. Expect a lot of the Vandy students to arrive late or at least this use to be the norm. I think on West End you'll find alot outside tailgating at establishments on either side of the street.

We usually park at the Parking Garage adjacent to the Baseball Field or I believe it is centennial park. Both are real short walks to the stadium.

Don't park in Centennial Park. It's no longer allowed and you'll be ticketed.
