Vandy didn’t look good against a pretty bad LSU team. Figured this one would be close, one way or the other, but Vandy just kind of ho-hummed through the game. The Pavia lawsuit thing a few weeks ago seemed to have really taken its toll, even if a regression to the mean was due.

That being said, they will look at next Saturday as their Super Bowl. We’ve got to get the job done first and foremost, and hopefully beat the dog out of them in the process.

True enough. But Clark Lea doesn’t strike me as the kind of coach that is going to take his foot off the gas when he’s got some decent talent to work with. Something hasn’t looked right with Vandy for a bit. Maybe it’s just them coming back to earth, but they just don’t seem to be operating like they were a few weeks back.
