Diggs lead recruiter is headed to Ole Miss.

Ole Miss: We have confirmed with multiple sources close to the program, Vanderbilt corners coach Wesley McGriff (aka "crime dog") will be joining Hugh Freeze's staff as co-defensive coordinator / corners coach.

Illinois: We have confirmed that Vanderbilt receivers coach Chris Beatty will be joining Tim Beckman's staff. He might wind up coaching the quarterbacks but we have not confirmed that part.

Can't wait for media to spin it as a sign of a thriving program, then claim S/W leaving is a sign that UT is in the toilet.

Can't wait to hear what Clay travis has to say about this. When we lose assistants it is because it is a sinking ship. Yet I can guarantee you when Franklin loses assistants travis will pat him on the back saying it is because he brings good assistants in

A lot of positive post on here about Freeze. Are the people at Ole miss as pleased as the comments on here seem to be? I thought that was a less than stellar hire but I know very little about Freeze.

Top recruits are going to flock to ole miss to play for a year in and year out bottom feeder, coached by a guy that was coaching a high school football team in Memphis not that long ago.

All he does is win, is a great recruiter, and just had the best season in Arkansas State's BCS history in his first year as HC, second in the program with the first being the OC. Bruce Feldman's book "Meat Market" was very complimentary of his recruiting ability and that he was the under-the-radar star of the staff under Orgeron.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, though. And only time will tell who's right and who's wrong.

I'm dead serious. I don't fault anyone else for being skeptical, but I'm not. I believe he'll be a winner.

I just think his attitude and vindicitve nature blurs his vision for Vanderbilt.

I'm talking about Hugh Freeze at Ole Miss.

Although I also think Franklin is doing a good job at Vanderbilt. I know, I'm an idiot.

Oh my fault, I was referring to Franklin. Freeze I still give him the benefit of the doubt.

This sounds like what other fans are saying about Tn.expect Dooley to recruit top recruits and as of right now Tn is the bottom feeder.
