I mean, kid’s HS is in Murfreesboro, kid may be a lifelong VU fan. But yeah if his dad’s at the Hospital of course the kid wants to stay close to home.

I am probably in the minority with this opinion especially with kids Tennessee recruits, but anytime a high schooler from Tennessee plays D1 baseball, I am extremely happy for them regardless of where they go. Very important for college to be the right fit, and many reasons it won't always be in Knoxville. And the more Tennessee high schoolers playing D1/SEC, the better baseball is in the entire state. I also hope they do well in college and make it to the MLB.
