Vaccine or not?

I don't know about plasma, but the Red Cross has been actively seeking whole blood donations from folks that have had Covid or have been vaccinated.
I thought the Red Cross was doing just the opposite? I thought they were focusing on getting non-vaxxed donations?

Pfizer says immunity drops to 83% within four months in people who got its COVID-19 shot, further bolstering the company case for a booster (yahoo.com)

So here is the deal: it's not a vaccine, it's a booster.

You can call this a vaccine all day long but its a lie.

They would have been so much better if they were simply honest and said this will help greatly reduce your chances of getting it or having serious issues when you get it, but instead they pretended it was bulletproof and provided total immunity.

It does not.

This is one reason they are heading back to the mask mandate because they simply lied and it's not becoming obvious.

I'm O+ and get called a lot. Back in March they started asking if I had been vaccinated or had contracted Covid. They said they are desperately seeking blood with antibodies.

Yeah, but will those local and state leaders actually do anything. I got to do the auto emissions inspection today ... again after the progrom (intentionally not "program") should have been ended. TN officials need to grow some balls and tell the feds to FO - quoting the 10th and 13th Amendments.

I thought that emissions testing ended about a year ago

"One of the most dangerous ideas that has come about in the last 3 years is that all points of view are equally valid, and that Average Citizen (YOU) are just as equipped to judge which have merit as anyone else.
"Hear all sides, and judge for yourself!" No. I do not condone the death of Expertise, and neither should you.
I am an expert in very, very few things. But in those areas, my expertise is hard earned through study, work, experience, and aptitude. None of it comes from attending Google University. But unless you are an expert in exactly the same areas, your opinion is not just as valid as mine. It's not.
And my opinion is not as valid as experts' in other fields. That is why THEY ARE THE EXPERTS. So if our leading epidemiologists largely agree that "A" is correct, and a couple of discredited doctors make a video that says "B" is correct, our response should not be "I'll listen to both and decide which makes sense to me." Confirmation bias exists, and only fools think they are free of it. To paraphrase Asimov, your ignorance is not the same as their experience. Genuinely smart people look for answers from people who are smarter than themselves. Only ignorant people believe their guess is as good as anyone else's."
It saddens me to see a grown person feel this way. You currents have an expert who has been caught in several lies, and is agreeing with a mask mandate where the info is from another country using a vax not approved in the US....that Dr also hasn't had hands on experiance with covid or a ill patient in years..but he is considered expert so we should listen to him? Basically if he told you to kill yourself because it'll stop covid you would do it cuz he is an expert? Power manipulates people, and those in power manipulate the truth....they use experts with looses morals to quit information to retain power...thats been shown through history.....if thats the way you wanna live life and it works for you great...i choose to live my of freedom. Not the slavery of experts

Just to clarify: monoclonal antibody is a lab-produced treatment, not an extract from donated blood.

Interesting. There have been virologists, infectious disease specialists and others who are considered experts in their fields who have spoken out against many things COVID related. Their thoughts and opinions have been labeled as misinformation or invalid. Why do you think that is? It’s like the HCQ treatment. Doctors have risked their professional careers by saying they have seen positive results using it. Same with ivermectin. But because the “studies” don’t show a huge success rate, then that automatically means it doesn’t work.

Doctors cannot question what’s going on right now. If they do they run a risk of losing their medical license. Scientists who question the status quo of COVID are berated and looked down upon. It boils down to you cannot question the COVID cult. That’s the most dangerous thing that’s happening right now.

Not anti-vaxxes fault. Your cult leader said vaccinated people are transmitting COVId. Suck it up and continue your sheep routine.
Whether it's 2 years, 5 years or 20 years from now hindsight will come into focus. Everyone will know whether it was the vaccinated sheep or the unvaccinated sheep who made the better choice. I proudly and without reservation admit I'm a vaccinated sheep.

That's the problem right there... the so-called fact checkers are corrupt and can't be trusted.
