U've Got Mail!!!

It’s not super quick, but you can press and hold one of the emails you want to delete, then it will give you the option of tapping all emails you want to delete, move, or whatever. Not quick, but way quicker than swiping each one individually
Good to know! Gonna try this next time. Thanks Bill!

If it works for me, we'll have to recrown the #1DA three posts up^^^^.

All I have to do with the Gmail app on my phone is press and hold an email I want to delete until there’s a check mark on the left. Then I can just tap each one I want to delete and a Check mark appears on them. Then I select the trash can icon. Poof, in the delete folder they go.

No offense Mal, but I’m calling user error on your part.

Don’t know if this is why Bill is asking, but IIRC, there are sensible and useful things I can do on my laptop that I can’t on my phone or iPad. And maybe Gmail cleanup is one of them.
It’s way easy to delete off a computer. TFG could even figure it out

Create a new Gmail, check it once a week and delete what's not important and forget that one.

You're welcome.
I disabled yesterday. Haha I deleted over 1500 and there are who knows how many more.
