Yet I dont see anywhere that Pruitt is using "we are a young team" as an excuse.

In retrospect, CBJ seemed to be setting the expectations low from the beginning. CJP, on the other hand, seems to be setting them higher than my poor jaded orange heart can reasonably hope for. You don't usually lower expectations though unless you are looking for a "because" to have in your back pocket for later "just in case". I don't see any of that from Pruitt.
