ahhh yes Bobo. Didn't he have the look of a deer in the headlights (of a Mac Truck) after that game?

Robert Edwards and Jay Grahm stole the show in that game.

Bobo played well, and really, better than Peyton that game. two huge drops for GA late in the 4th qtr to wide open WR's.

i still can't believe how fast that defense was. every play multiple players in the backfeild it seemed like.

those drops killed me. Thanks for bringing that up Jake appreciate it.
:hi:i was at that game. one of the best atmospheres i've been to in Neyland. loud the whole game. when we were leaving, me and my buddies basically said that if Edwards hadn't got hurt late, you guys probalby would have won. Dude went off that night.

I remember watching this game back then and came away thinking the same thing. Edwards was unstoppable that night before he was injured.

For it to be a "Before they were pros" theme, ESPN could have pick a better game for Peyton. I guess it is the conspiracy theory that ESPN hates the VOLS

yep. i still can't get over how fast our front 7 was. they weren't over powering, but man, they could get by you and pursue like it was nobody's business.

offensively, looking back, you see some of the same characteristics we've seen lately, just with a lot better players running it. and we still tightened up offensiely in the 2nd half of that game. stupid penalties....back to back false starts, two subsitution penalties and 12 players on the feild, all in the 2nd half. up by ten, and boom, two possessions later, GA is winning.

i had forgotten how much I liked Jay Graham. Hard nosed runner who did everything he could to be going forward when he went down.

yeah, when you think about the running backs we went thru from about 89-99, it's kind of ridiculous. James Stewart, Reggie Cobb, Chuck Webb, Tony Thompson, Charlie Garner, Jay Grahm, Jamal Lewis, Travis Stevens and Travis Henry.....and i'm sure i'm forgetting someone, but mercy, we were "blessed" at the running back position for quite a while.

those O-lines were pretty daggum tough too. It was sad and exciting at the same time to see the push our O-line was getting on UGA late in the game.

1995 was one of UT's better OL's. Peyton and the Tennessee running game did very well that year. The record speaks for itself. 11-1.
