Fulmer was filling in for Majors this game. We went undefeated under him and then Johnny came back....we all know how that went haha.

I have a procedural question . . . Can you use the pronoun "we" to describe a situation when you weren't actually born when it occurred?

Without a doubt. Didn't We almost win the War Between the States?

You need to watch just to see Heath Shuler convert 4th and 5 miles at the end of the game.

i remember that play and that pass to ron davis. john ward said that davis either had to catch it or it would have stuck in his chest. shuler put a little something behind that pass.

Wow, I had forgotten that back then we played Georgia the week before we played Florida. I know Georgia was down then so it wasn't as big of a deal, but I can't imagine doing that now.

I remember watching that game. What amazed me the most was seeing UT come out in all white. I had never seen that.

Edwards broke his foot at UT in '95. He was running roughshod over us up until that point. We won the game on a field goal late.

The highlight of the '97 game was Donnan out at midfield cussing Fulmer after a late Manning screen to (??????) when the game was already out of reach.

I can't remember the exact year that happened, but I want to say that was a few years later like '96 or '97.

1992 would have been the Eric Zeier, Andre Hastings, Garrison Hearst version of the UGA.

This game had as much to do with fulmer becoming our head coach as anything. I remember cory fleming stripping a lb of the ball after a shuler pick and the 4

yeah, i had a fuzzy memory of this game too. this was the game that really put Shuler on the front burner.....he was a gamer, and that was HUGE play.

and man, i miss charlie garner...that guy could run.

Shuler put a little something on all of his passes. He had the strongest arm of any QB that ever played at UT. Bobby Scott comes close, but no cigar.

Does anyone else remember the piece ESPN did on Shuler? They wanted people to see what a Shuler thrown ball looked like coming at you. They put this big piece of plexiglass up, and had Heath throw directly at the camera. He busted the plexiglass on the first throw.
