Maybe they are hoping they can finally get the Vols in a cbs slot where the game game doesn't last 5 hours

When did that change? Always thought CBS got first choice.

Nope. The only have so many first choices. They're out for this season now on 1st dibs. That's why ESPN gets first shot next Saturday. I still think it will be on primetime possibly on ABC.

The game was originally slated for Oct. 8th. CBS had already chosen UT vs aTm that day. They (CBS) can't "double-dip" so-to-speak and get UF vs LSU when it passed on that game previously.

its on the SEC Network at 1 et

That's where I figured they would place our game against Mizzou next week except at noon instead of 1 PM. Why the 1 PM? The games on SEC Network this season have been at noon & not 1 o'clock. Crazy weird!
