It would be nice if he could be molded into a competent game manager at the very least.

this is what im hoping for, and those 2 prayers were pretty good passes, the later one was an exelent pass. cromptons struggles last year were a product of the system. the one thing a QB can not play without is confidence, and that just wose not there last year due to the system.

I don't agree that Crompton's struggles were all on the clawfense last year. Especially after rewatching this LSU game. He made very poor decisions the whole game and got bailed out on some very risky passes by receivers who were much more talented than the current ones we have on the roster.

you can look at it like this, last year when we had tight coverage he would throw the ball to the other teams mascot. during that game vs LSU he would throw the ball to give a reciever a chance to make a play on it. i hope our recievers this year are willing to try to make plays on balls that are not thrown perfect. didnt seem like they were last year. but claussen had a differnt passing scheame, where the qb would throw to a spot (aparently wheather the reciever was there or not).
