I remember watching this game in the hospital. My wife just gave birth to our daughter the previous day. HEARTBREAKING LOSS, however, it didn't affect me much. Since I just became a father, I had A LOT of other much more important things on my mind...:p

And while watching this game, I cannot express enough excitement about the fact that we have Monte Kiffin. There have been 2 plays already in this game in the first quarter where guys were wide open with 15 yard cushions 25 yards down the field...good ol' Chavis.

Me too, but what we really needed in 2007 was John Henderson, Al Wilson, and Fred White to return, because that was the WORST defense I had ever seen in UT history.

Yeah a better defense would have been nice to have. We would be SEC champs in 07 if we would have

No, if Ainge hadn't of gone completely braindead in the 4th quarter we would of been Sec champs.
Yeah our defense played well enough to win that game.
Ainge made one mistake that game and it happened to be a pick six. If I'm not mistaking did Arian Foster cough it uP there at the end in the red zone? It wasn't just Ainge but what's done is done

if crompton had played last year like he did in this game, (the clawfense screwed everyone) we would probley still have the great pumpkin on the sidelines coming up in 2009.

On the next drive after the pick six Ainge threw another interception in the redzone. He choked, period.

Ainge threw 2 picks. Chris Brown had a terrific catch that saved another pass from being a pick

11/24 passing with two prayers to Meachem does not mean Crompton is good or was ever good in college. Prayers are what we need this year. It would be nice if he could be molded into a competent game manager at the very least.
