Hello all. I had a crappy day of watching sports as my Vols floundered in a wood-shed-spanking at the hands of Tim Tebow; then I watched my Louisville Cards outplayed by the Kentucky Wildcats.

My neighbor, an avid Cats fan, was full of glee and optimism as his Cats became 3-0 and just topped the #9 team in the nation, and will likely be ranked in the top 25.

I said to him, cheer all you want, because we won't be alive for much longer. Surely it is a sign of the apocalypse when Kentucky is ranked higher than Tennessee in football.

As others have stated, it is pretty embarassing. It also doesn't make me look forward to the Vols-Cats matchup at the end of the season. never thought I'd say that. Another sign of the apocalypse.:banghead2:

I found this on CatsPause last night. They've had us in their sight since the 9/1/07 debacle.

Kentucky is going to kick our ass at the end of the season. I can't think of a better way for Fulmer to leave the program -- on a fat, juicy ass kicking from the KY boys in blue.

I was at the last game when UK beat UT. It was in Knoxville. UT had Johnny Jones in the backfield and Kentucky had George Adams. Off hand I don't remember what change UT made to the defense, but I know it sucked.

Before the game fans were singing "Go Johnny Go" for Johnny Jones. After the game they were singing "Go Johnny Go" for Johnny Majors.

I was at the game last night, and can tell you UK's offense will give us fits. They will run the football on our D.

If this crap continues to look so bad, I'm selling my tix to this one. Why drive 6 hours to watch the Vols get trounced in an away game?

UK takes our secondary to school.

We could lose this one big.

One or two injuries in the secondary and the UF game could look close.

Meeting Lexvol is worth the drive? :dunno:

well...since ya put it that way.

Actually, I'm sure we'll still go down. I'm a Vol fan and i wanna see my Vols...no matter how they are doing.

It doesn't hurt I grew up a UK basketball fan...Mashburn is god. I wouldn't mind picking up some Widcat hoops stuff during the trip. Although I gotta say, I am really warming up to the Vols hoops as well. Love the excitement that both coaches bring to the game. Tubby all but bored the love for UK hoops right out of me. Right now UK is my #1 and UT is my #1A.

Have we ever lost to Vandy and UK in the same season?

I can remember the days when after the Bama game we beat every opponent till the end of the year by in excess of 35 points and would score 50+ per game while having a defense that didn't give up squat.
