UT/USCe on ESPN2

Tennessee’s Nov. 1 game at South Carolina will kick off at 7 p.m. and be televised nationally on ESPN2.

The Vols defeated South Carolina 27-24 in overtime last year in Knoxville. That game was televised by ESPN.

The South Carolina game will mark UT’s sixth game on national television this season, and its third on an ESPN network.

It's all perspective. We see it as them slighting us when we're good and rubbing it in when we're not. Could it be that the coverage doesn't change much but our view does?

espn does not hate us, they actually like us and the amount of people who tune into our games.

they also pick up more games when we're bad and expected to lose than when we're good...course this all could be to further a fire fulmer feeling so they have a story later too who knows, but i digress that's off topic

i do think though that hate is the wrong word, i dont think that espn hates UT, but i do think they view the surrounding area and fans as rednecks and yokels or idiots and dislike that and wish they could have as little to do with us as possible :hmm:

no but i mean look at how many national games we got last year vs this year. how many losing record teams have had this many national games by midseason?

last year we had cal and UF UGA and USCe....then werent picked up again till the very end of the year at UK

for some reason the national meida seems to show us a lot more when we're bad
