Big Orange at Big Blue. National TV. They're a little down. We're way up.

I'm nervous as heck about this one. I think our tempo and pressure give us an edge for the first time in ages. But Kentucky at Rupp is a tough win in any millenium.

How does this play out folks???

17-3?

GO VOLS!!!

By the way, this our only national TV gig for the rest of the year. For recruiting's sake as well as the win column, man I hope we can win this one!!!

I know, that's pretty sad huh? The Florida game should've been on National TV. I hope our guys don't choke because of this.

This Kentucky team doesnt scare anybody. The only thing that scares opponents is Rupp Arena.

I can't blame the networks. In basketball, the schedule of televised games is set before the season. Nobody thought there would be any reason to televise UT.

I think being on tv hurts us because of the occurrence of tv timeouts...it gives the other team a break.

Kentucky isn't a bad team - it's just a bad Kentucky team.

We are the better team but road wins are tough. This would be a big win.

Go Vols

I am really torn on this. While UT I think is a bit better than UK, UK's back is up against the wall. They need a big win and you guys would be it. With homecourt advantage they will be tough to beat.

Honestly, it would not surprise me to see either team come out and lay a whuppin' on the other. Somebody gets hot and scores a bundle. Going to be a fun game, I think.

I will tell you a few years back Florida went into Rupp ranked number one and flying high. That crowd erupted and Kentucky blew out the Gators by about 20. Florida was running in mud. The Gators did not recover that year at all. Mediocre from that point forward. It is a dangerous place for a team that can't take it. This is where Pearl earns his salary.

this will be the first year that i can remember being able to talk smack to one of my best friend's (a kentucky fan) prior to the game, but i think we are playing some of the best basketball in the country and if we can start solid ala ole miss we should be able to pull off the w.

here's to hoping rondo continues his sweet scoring touch :birgits_giggle: and that my first post precedes one of the bigger victories in recent ut basketball history

Did you see them play at Florida, they have no defense at all!

That'll help. Let's just hope that Lofton will get open and get open often. I'm sure that he wants to have a good showing in his home state.
