I understand that. Why the empty seats? Was that not the picture at kick-off?
Here is a more accurate picture from last Thursday’s game:
We’re a college team in a pro town. People show up when we win. Expectations weren’t too high last season and it reflected in our attendance against Western Michigan. Nothing wrong with that, it’s just how it is.

That wasn't a picture of the Pitt-WVU game. That's from 9/18/2021 against Western Michigan - and it was the 2nd home game after COVID restrictions were relaxed. Less tickets than normal sold for 2021 season.
 
The official attendance was 70,623 in a stadium that holds 68,400.

Maybe you should explain how in this picture the opposing team has red pants (WVU wore white), and it's very clearly a midday game given how sunny it is (WVU game was at 7p). Surely you can do a bit more research than you did to try to slam an opponent like that.
