A pair of big innings were too much for the University of Tennessee baseball team to overcome, as No. 10 Oregon State scored 11 runs with two outs in the fifth and sixth frames to hand the Volunteers their first loss of the 2010 campaign, 17-1, Friday evening at Goss Stadium in Corvallis, Ore.

We're not quite there yet lol. OSU is a powerhouse so I didn't have high expectations but that's just bad right there.

17 runs on 12 hits. need to get the ball over the plate. you may get hit, but walking 11 doesn't even give you a chance.

Ouch.

Oh well, one thing that makes baseball so great is that you have to quickly forget and play the next day.

If we take one of three out there, I will be pleased.

I thought Raleigh should have been fired after last season but since he got another year, I really wanted to see him prove me wrong and win. Hopefully this loss isn't the beginning of another poor season. Would really like to see the baseball team winning. Even if I can't actually watch it...
