UT students return tickets

i should not be able to get a ticket this late as a student...sure enough, i had absolutely no problem in doing so...dark times at the hill, these are

They are also allowing students to buy "guest tickets" for $10 due to the number unsold. From my memory this is a first, for a SEC game...esp Bama. Usually those are Non-SEC and Homecoming only right?

And weren't the tickets free?

They were free during my entire time at UT 2000-2004 IIRC.

I never went to the ticket office though. 1 person would just go with 10 IDs and reserve tickets. I was never asked for any money and I know for sure the people going would require money up front before buying a bunch of tickets.

So I'm assuming they were free then.

From 1994-1998 they were free, and we did the same thing. Also had pledges do it and split up the best seats for us lol then give them what was left.

The level of denial on this board is frightening. OP is just trying to get you guys informed on how bad it is. If you live outside the state the mention of UT either gains instant laughter or who?
