I always thought rammer jammer was what they do to farm animals down there in bama.

I think it's a mix of drunken frat boys squinting down field and lacking the clarity or intelligence to come up with anything else, and the fact that once the chant gets going it just trickles through the rest of the student section. It only takes a couple of idiots to get people going.

the fans need something to do while at neyland.... whether it be doing the wave, or chanting classless phrases directed at the opposing fans, they need something to cheer or jeer about..

Same thing happened in 2006 when Lamarcus Coker was down and getting looked at on the field.

Bama fans started the Ala-Bama chant, while the student section, and eventually much of the fans in attendance, replied with FU Bama.

We did not know there was an injured player. Once we heard and saw a player was hurt we stopped. Even though we may not like UT we respect the players on the field and never want to see a player hurt.

By the way, I had a wonderful trip to K'ville and want to let you know that I was treated with great respect.

Roll Tide.

I call BS on that, he had been down for a while.

I understand that it happens, I'm just upset that this is how we react. We should not reply to such a classless act with something even worse.

Who cares? Kansas' student section belts out "Rip his f***ing head off!" every time KU kicks the ball off.

And Colorado sings the "HEY!" song that ends with "f*** em up, f*** em up, GO CU!" instead of the traditional "Buffaloes, Buffaloes, GO CU!"

I think it's trash. I think KU's is trash. And I think Alabama's is trash.

Do not know, was not at last game there, I was in Iraq. So I can not help you on that one. And to answer the question of another post, yes we could see the field, but did not know anyone was hurt. As we all know all teams have fans that could care less but as for the ones I was with, one actually said a prayer for the player, my friend is a preacher.

Is it more sinful or unpatriotic to call BS on a god-fearing war hero?
