UT-SC Bball Game Thread

It really was a good showing by the fans tonight considering the 3 losses. People are trying to be supportive. It was a painful game to sit through though.

We had all that dance team talent just sitting around while we watched guys march and twirl their rifles.

It wouldn't have been as annoying if we were allowed to make some noise and move around. I couldn't even eat my M&M's without people giving me dirty looks. People sure did get serious about it..

I thought it was neat... but nothing to be so serious about. Although it was dedicated to that Veteran who was there. But still, nothing to be so serious about!

Exactly. I do not attend basketball games to sit in silence while a bunch of Niedermeyer clones do some drill. I was glad to see a WWII vet receive recognition. We can never honor those brave warriors enough. However, the manner of said recognition left much to be desired.

I enjoyed the mascot dodgeball at the Texas game. That was a lot better than those silly mascot basketball games.

That marching by the guys from The Citadel was the strangest thing I have ever seen at a game.

I agree. I was sitting there thinking, "I really don't know what to say about this." I did stand up and clap for the old guy ... whoever he was ...
