UT RB rotation

I think a lot of our fans are snoozing on Jordan. Will he be a Heisman contender? Probably not. But he is a tough runner that is a bit slippery.
What little I saw of him last year I was impressed. Just a little surprised that he's at least even with Chandler at this point. That's actually a good thing, because when healthy I think Chandler is a very good RB. As for the Heisman part, I'll wait for D4H's evaluation. biggrin2.gif

It actually makes me happy that all three RBs are listed in the OR depth chart together. I read all of those as "The guys with OR are ALL capable and we plan to depend on them to win starting in game 1." Surely, the 3 vets are more advanced on all the extra-curricular skills, like pass protection and the playbook etc.

On top of that Jeremy Banks definitely passes the eye test in the activities I've watched. Having 3 "#1 guys" is gold. Having what could be a forth learning behind them is solid gold. Excited @ this entire group.

cfa has been moved to DB.

Noticed he was "2nd string" at one of the corners. But, the other corner slot had multiple guys at the "#1" slot. So who knows if that means CFA actually goes in first, or a #1 guy from the other side goes in first?

pruitt has addressed this in the past. in order to make sure you're maximizing hte chances at getting your best players on the field, he doesn't necessarily believe in 1's and 2's at a specific position. if you have 4 CB's and 3 of the 4 are clearly better, then if one of the two "1's" goes down, the next best guy goes in. regardless of what side it is. so seeing CFA as #2 on whatever side he's listed, probalby doesn't literally mean 2. probabaly closer to 3 or 4.

that's why he puts so much stock in to cross training at certain spots. needs to guys to be as versatile and interchangeable as possible.

I think all of our backs will do a fine job but I still think TC is the stud back there but I would be extremely happy if the all the backs showed out behind our OL.
