UT QB situation getting interesting (DNJ,Gilbert)

nothing in that article is realistic. Kiffin won't run his offense onto the field with Berry or GJ under center. Although it did take me a while to figure out who Greg Jones is.

I think Mr. Gilbert is getting confused with the type of offense MTSU will run next year.

Gilbert says 'interesting'....I say nerve racking.

yea...nerve racking is more like it. Especially since I don't consider G. Jones or Berry as realistic options. Definitely not Berry. Regarding G. Jones....I think he could do well at QB in the right system....but CLK doesn't run that system. CLK isn't going to change his entire system for just one year until he gets a QB recruit to knoxville.

This guy must have been bored and lost for words when writing this article. First of all, what he is saying is not going to happen, and further more he can't even get the names right. What a waste of time.

At first I was like, "who the hell is this guy and how did he get this job?" Then I look up and see "Rutherford County's first news choice." Oh.

Wasn't Greg Jones already drafted by the Jaguars a few years back. I doubt he has any eligibility. Not to mention we don't need a halfback...

Leave it to the OP to pimp an article from Rutherford county, no matter how awful it is.

So then our QB depth chart looks like this:

Crompton
Stephens
Greg Jones
Rozier
Gerald Jones
Eric Berry

Not as bad as originally thought!

Rebuilding is the term that we used to use to describe what is going on with the Vol offense. Not many people use that term. Now its reload. Rebuild is more appropriate. If B.J. was lead to believe or if he imagined that his starting would jeopardize the 2010 recruiting class - it may be true. How? I don't know. If he could not clearly separated himself from Crompton in the spring and make it so obvious that he was the better player then he is not good enough to lead this team to a SEC championship and beyond.

It is obvious that Coach Kiff is trying to build a solid system for the future. Everything from the hiring the staff he did to how they are recruiting should tell us he is trying to build, as best he can, a dynasty type program. In my opinion, those are over BUT that type of program is ALWAYS in the hunt and in the talk about the NC. That is where we want to be. So let him find his QB of the future and build this thing even if it takes a couple of years to do it.

that was worse than reading someones blog. if that were turned in as a high school paper, they would shoot you in the face.

and yes, I am aware that what i just said makes little to no sense whatsoever.

Wow. I need to write a column. Because if this guy can do it, any no talent guy can. I cannot believe he thinks ut might put gerald "greg" jones at qb seeing he is the best receiver we have. You would think that if clk wanted to do that, he wouldn't have waited til his 3rd string qb quit. But maybe actually work on it in spring. This guy has
no clue. If gj or eb get more than 5 snaps a game at qb, ill eat my tennessee hat.
