- Three-star edge Siale Esera has been keeping information tightly sealed, but earlier this summer did hint that he could be close to narrowing his recruiting focus, with an aim to make a midseason commitment. Stanford, UCLA, BYU, Nebraska, Utah, Oregon State, Arizona, Washington State and Tennessee are the schools the Timpview standout said have been messaging him the most, but he has not yet taken any official visits and the longer this goes, the more it appears he'll stay close to home. There are family connections with the in-state Cougars and that’s the school we’d have to think holds pole position.

Stanford, UCLA, BYU and Utah are all going to get visits from the four-star linebacker out of Provo (Utah) Timpview and Esera is still working on figuring out his fifth and final trip. Oregon and Tennessee are under the most serious consideration as Stanford might be edging out the in-state programs right now.
