The University of Tennessee baseball team (13-13) scored at least two runs in every inning it came to bat and had five different players hit home runs as it defeated Presbyterian College, 25-6, Wednesday night at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in Knoxville. All nine Volunteer starters had at least one hit and scored a run in the contest, as UT tallied its eighth-highest single-game run total in school history.

We sure have Presbyterian's number. Maybe we should consider playing more teams that are named after a religious denomination. Raleigh should add Eastern Mennonite, Methodist College, Mid-American Nazarene and Tennessee Wesleyan to the schedule.

Do the Unitarians have a college? It would be easy to beat their vegetarian, hippie butts.

Scratch Tennessee Wesleyan from that list- last time they played, they nearly beat UT. They are now on UT's "do not play and get humiliated by a smaller school" list.

Tennessee Temple, then. They're 8-22 and lost 9-0 and 11-2 to Tennessee Wesleyan this year.

If Raleigh is actually ducking smaller schools we used to play for mid-week games because they won't roll over for him, that's the biggest humiliation of all.

There is a Unitarian College in Manchester, England. Raleigh needs to convince them to form a team so we can play them. :good!:
