I would tend to think there may not be a very nice message on it by the time the sun comes up tomorrow morning....

I'm sure someone out there is gathering up the paint as I am typing this....

Umm the rock is there so students can say whatever they want. If it's vulgar it gets painted over pretty quickly but it IS about students voicing their views on everything from football to wishing happy birthdays or whatever they want.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised to find out somebody figures out a way to actually burn the rock like a mattress.

Calm down folks... I am not saying the rock shouldn't be painted.... I am simply saying that UT hasn't seen anything yet....

I am sure there are a lot more people wanting to paint it now...

Someone ought to paint a message on Hart's and Cheek's lawns... No property damage, but get the point across...

I'm not a fair weather fan.

I still cheer for UT. I just hate our coaching staff because they can't get the job done. No grudges held against Dooley. He's a hell of a man, but this is too much for him and (most) of his staff.

I daresay that most of us are not "anti-vols," but rather anti-losing, anti-apathy, and anti-current coaching staff (with a couple of exceptions - Graham, for instance).

And, although I cannot honestly speak on behalf of all Vol fans, I believe that most of us are not "fair-weather" fans, because tens of thousands have remained loyal supporters of the Vols through think and thin... win or lose, Coach Battle, Majors, Fulmer, Kiffin, Dooley, or whoever...

I will bash ineptitude on the field and on the sidelines, but I will never bash loyal BO fans!
