UT Hoops and The Main Board..

Is the basketball talk now supposed to exist solely in the hoops forum, or is there to be a time when it is OK to talk hoops in here?

If so, I'd say it is time to start. Main board is about to get mighty dull if we don't talk basketball in here.

I honestly don't know what the plan is on this...

It's all ultimately Freak's call . .but the general plan right now is to keep it separate at least as long all this coaching stuff is going on. With all the activity we are getting right now, having it all together would be a nightmare with all the threads getting buried way too fast.

Once the football talk slows down, we'll decide whether to merge it back into the main board or keep it permanently separate.

GA is such the diplomat. He is correct. I'd love for there to be enough football talk in the main board to enable us to keep the basketball forum separate, but I'm not convinced that will be the case.

With a well established recruiting forum, I'm not sure we'll be able to maintain pace after the Kiffin talk dies down... which it will I think, because soon there just won't be a lot new coming out... either.

Sefishly, I'd just prefer to talk hoops in here during season...
