OP thanks for posting. I often look things up in the football guides and glad they are online. I first purchased a football guide while a student in 1973 and have continued to buy a hard copy each year since. I have autographs in two of them - Stanley Morgan in 1974 and Alan Cockrell in 1982. Actually got Alan's autograph in Columbia SC where the Vols were playing the Gamecocks in baseball. Alan is far better known for baseball than football but I will always remember him as the QB that broke an 11 game win streak with Alabama. My wife got Stanley's autograph about 8-9 years ago where he appeared at a function honoring him for his NFL career with the Patriots in his hometown of Easley, SC which is her home town, too; unfortunately I could not make that trip so I did not get to meet him. She said he was very surprised to see the 1974 football guide where he is on the cover and said he hadn't seen that picture in many years.
