I wonder what Kiffin thinks about the fanaticism with the UT fanbase? This has got to be like night and day when he was at USC, where nobody really cares about recruiting, camp, and probably most of the season. Think about it, we already know when which recruit is coming in for a visit and we have a rock painted and ready for him when he gets here...and now Nuke is taking snaps at QB and we are talking about it on here only hours after it happened. Practice finishes and we have a thread with video up within the hour, soaking up everything we can.

It makes you wonder if he fully realized the passion of football out here when he took the job.

For better or worse, he's going to have an intimate understanding of it by the end of this season.

I think he is going to be floored the first time he runs through the T, I expect Neyland will give him a rousing welcome and the stadium will be rocking the whole game (wow, can't believe I just said that about the WKU game).

Yeah, if he doesn't appreciate it yet, that's definitely the time that it will sink in.

he did deal with Raider fans so he might have a clue about fanatics.

If he was impressed with the Vol walk at the spring game, imagine what he's gonna be thinking September 5th. And I'll be right there!!!!! Already warned the husband and kids we're lining up early!! :dance2:

Just wear the pom pom pants, and run up and hug him as the team is walking down, he'll understand.

I don't think there is anyway you can prepare for Neyland Stadium when it's packed out and everyone is screaming...the first time they run through the T will be eye opening for him and everyone else new to the team. Hell, if we're loud enough, even to the guys who've been there before. Nothing like the start of a new season with a little bit of promise and everyone at 0-0!

First bad loss will open his eyes! First bad season will really kick him in the ass!
