Well, even though I've been cheering for the bball Vols since the Don Devoe era and even earlier during the last of the Mears era, some random poster might think I'm a bandwagon fan... so I guess I better not go.

I meet the original poster's criteria despite having never lived a day closer than 115 miles to the TN state line. I guess that makes me a Superfan. :superman:

And, the Memphis game sold out before single-game sales, forcing me to find a ticket elsewhere.
But, I wouldn't have it any other way. :victory:

I'm a UT basketball fan first and foremost and I struggled through the doldrums, but that doesn't provide me with some silly badge of courage or right to thumb my nose at the new fans excited about what's happening with our program. Pearl's job was to get them here and he has done it exceedingly well. In fact, he's a better marketer than coach.

You beat your chest and pride yourself for your patronage in the tough years, but the outlook for this team would still suck without all of these new fans. If they bother you more than the line of schlock we had for coaches, you should keep your old ass at home so you don't have to watch them fill the seats that you paid for.

Why can't we just be a Vol fan period??? I have routed thru the good, bad and ugly times of EVERY Vol team that I have seen in person, on TV or listened to on the radio since 1976.

Maybe you should go see a professional about this or something. I want to just pick everything in this apart one by one and tell you how ignorant and selfish you are but others already have and it's not really worth my time. But way to go you.

Iv been watching UT basketball just as long as iv been paying attention to basketball period! So dont you ever call me a band wagon jumper!... People like you piss me off. :swoon3:
