I don't disagree, but it doesn't have anything to do with my contention about Kiffin being a better head coach than Pruitt. At least for right now

Lane is all about creating hype and buzz. He as an excellent offensive mind but I think he needs someone to watch him and keep him under control. I am not sold him being able to control himself as the Top Kick.

Good response by Kiffin even though he may be wrong. The statement was directed at his players not the fans. He does not want them to be satisfied with a close loss to an elite team.

Agreed. He knows his players are watching how he handles a close loss vs a team that should have blown them away. He could be elated right now that he went toe to toe with the big giant of CFB, but showing it would cater to the losers mentality. It doesn't matter if you lose by 1 point or 50, a loss is still a loss and any true competitor would be pissed they lost even by the slightest of margins.
