Ooops...my bad. I guess they just don't care!!

that's probably right. but like i said before, i could be in the law library (it's right next to the stadium) on any given saturday during football season and you wouldn't be able to tell if there was a game. there were sooooo few people out. nothing like the sea of orange next to neyland, that's for sure!

people know there is a friggin football game. god :jpshakehead:

They may know there's a game but it's just different at UT. In the week prior to a game you can just feel it when you're on campus. The RV's start pulling in, the boats start to line up on the TN river, flags are flying and it's just about all anyone talks about. Not to knock Cal but it's a whole different mindset.

The majority of people who attend cal games probably live within an hours drive. so you are correct it is different.

An hours drive is nothing for UT fans. They drive from all over the state (or the country for that matter) to come to the UT games. Heck, we even have people come on their boats, and that takes way over an hour!! :dance2:

Exactly, the logistics are totally different. A larger population is concentrated around Berkeley.

different doesn't mean better dear. We have 6 million people within an hour of our campus. you have what 300K?

Ok. I'll give you a break and will admit that you all have way more colleges out there. You have USC, UCLA, Stanford, etc. :eek:k:

the real difference is that the vast majority of those within 1 hour of Cal's campus do not give a rat's arse whether Cal ever plays another football game.

It's a tad different within one hour of Knoxville.

In this situation it does. Nobody with a straight face could say there is anything better about the Cal football experience than the UT experience. Apples to um...oranges

But for the record I think Cal wins on Saturday.

We flew out from Cincinnati last night to San Fran.

There were probably a good 10-12 UT fans (ones atleast with some UT gear on) but there were a few near us apparently that were UT fans but weren't dressed up.

We also sat infront of a Stanford grad... he said a few 'nice' words to say about Cal :lolabove:

We were watching ESPN on the plane ride over and I could hear some moans when they announced EAs pinky was broken instead of just jammed
