Observations:
Andre Mathis is now at DT
Art Evans steps up to 3rd CB
Brent Vinson is 5th CB and 8th WR
Dennis Rogan is #2 SS, Nevin McKenzie is #3

I think the only reason Vinson is number 5 CB is because lack of depth. and because he hasn't proven anything as a receiver yet.

To actually hear their names being called because they are making plays. Not just hey, they are playing right now. I watched the game, I know who was on the field and who wasn't.

If you watched the game then you would know he caused the fumble on a backup QB, with back up guys blocking and backup guys running routes. He needs to be making plays like that when the big boys are playing and not just the backups.

Well, atleast some of us know what positions players play. I was surprised to see Vinson as number 5 CB. Wonder if that is a typo too or if they are just tired of him not getting it at WR?

CPF said Vinson would be moved to corner if he didn't get the WR position down the week before the Cal game.

Guess he wasn't kidding

I'm sure that is true. They had already threatened to put Vinson as a DB during the Fall. I would say this is to shore up the DB after the injury .. but they are leaving him at WR to show him they haven't totally given up on him at WR.
