False.

The distinction between 1-A and 1-AA didn't come until the late 70s. Since that split, Tennessee was 0-0 against lower division opponents until the UTM game.

ok you win the semantics game. Of course UTM was technically FCS since 1aa doesn't exist but I won't mark off for that

Thankfully Coleman will have won his Heisman and be gone from UTC so we won't have to worry about the upset.

Don't really like playing the 1AA teams, but the only plus about the Martin game was going to the game with an old HS friend that went to Martin. Getting all the alumni associations involved may be the only benefit besides an easy W for the football team.
