Tennessee will have plenty of prospects on campus this week, with camps scheduled for five of the next six days. Their first high-school camp for players at all positions will run Monday through Wednesday, and they’re scheduled to hold a pair of junior/senior camps on Friday and Saturday.

Top247 rising junior defensive end Jalen Dalton of Clemmons, N.C., is expected to be among the prospects on campus Monday, while three-star offensive tackle Nick Richardson of Westerville, Ohio, and Top247 safety C.J. Hampton are scheduled to travel to Knoxville on Tuesday. Five-star rising junior defensive tackle Trenton Thompson of Albany, Ga., who claims an early offer from Tennessee, is planning to visit Wednesday.

A number of high-priority 2014 prospects are scheduled to be on campus later in the week. Top247 defensive end Andrew Williams of McDonough, Ga., Top247 defensive tackle Charles Mosley of Brighton, Tenn., four-star defensive tackle Poona Ford of Hilton Head Island, S.C., three-star defensive end Rick Leonard of Middletown, Md., and three-star defensive end Cory Thomas of McCalla, Ala., are among the players with Tennessee offers who are planning to travel to Knoxville on Friday. Four-star cornerback D.J. Smith of Marietta, Ga., is scheduled to visit UT on Saturday coming off a trip to South Carolina over the weekend.

Wide receiver Eric Lauderdale of Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, Calif., who’s believed to have Tennessee at or near the top of his list, is hoping to travel to Tennessee sometime this week, and don’t be surprised if Top247 wide receiver Josh Malone of Gallatin, Tenn. ends up visiting sometime this week.

The majority of the Vols’ current commitments for the 2014 class also are planning to be on campus Friday and Saturday to spend time together and help recruit some of the other prospects who will be in town.

Lots of big names at camp this week. Could be a huge week in terms of recruiting, especially for the big uglies. 13 of our 15 commits visiting, most from out of state. Feel free to use this thread to add updates of players or profiles that I may have missed and to add pictures / media.

I know I'm being Captain Obvious with this statement, but the next week could be incredibly fruitful for commitments.

Are you saying I shouldn't marry until I am old enough to be an AARP member? That's what I got from your statement anyway..

There will be some Midstate kids in today. Josh Malone and Vanderbilt commitment Emmanuel Smith will be here as well as 2015 linebacker Josh Smith, who has an offer, 2016 receiver AJ Morris, 2015 defensive back Tyler Black and 2014 quarterback Tyus Jobe.

Also, there will be 2015 receiver Tavin Richardson from Byrnes, S.C.

First off, Florida cornerback John Battle was on campus today for a visit. We're hearing the visit went very well and we're trying to catch up with him.

Also, Alabama defensive end Cory Thomas was in town yesterday for a visit.

John Battle - Yahoo! Sports

Defensive back Mark Fields out of North Carolina got his first offer on Sunday from N.C. State. He's apparently putting in work today at UT as well and we wouldn't be surprised to see him with an Vols offer very soon. He's the son of Mark Fields Sr., who spent a decade in the NFL.

Apparently the younger Fields may have really turned heads today with a sub-4.4 40 time.
-----------
To follow up on John's post about Fields, the Vols have offered him today. He's someone that is likely on the verge of blowing up as he camps around the South this summer.

From yesterday;

Georgia commitment Gilbert Johnson was on campus today with a number of his teammates. He just made his commitment to Georgia a few days ago. Just wanted to let you guys know.

Three-star defensive back John Battle of Hallandale (Fla.) High School also visited Tennessee today on his way to Louisville, where he visited a little bit this afternoon with Cardinals coach Charlie Strong. He's also going to tour the campus and spend a little more time there tomorrow.

Battle said he really liked the visit to Tennessee. The Vols' facilities made a big impression on him, and he enjoyed meeting with coach Butch Jones, defensive backs coach Willie Martinez and wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni, who's serving as Battle's primary recruiter. Battle wasn't willing to name any favorites among the 30-plus teams pursuing him, but he said he definitely likes UT, and he's hoping to make a decision by the end of the summer — perhaps as early as next month.

Another 2015 prospect who was on campus today and yesterday was Top247 wide receiver Anfernee Sullivan of Taylorsville (Miss.) High School. Sullivan still is awaiting his first offer and didn't get an offer from the Vols while he was on campus, but he said he really enjoyed visiting Tennessee for the first time.

More notes;

5-8, 155 lb '16 ATH Dorian Banks of Sevierville, Tenn was at a camp and is drawing early interest from TN.

Dorian Banks - Yahoo! Sports

Another visitor UT hosted was 2016 WR Mykel Jones of Louisiana, he already holds offers from Tenn, ASU, FSU and LSU. Jones' father is apparently a friend of former Vol J.J. McCleskey, so they heard good things about TN and decided to make the trip after getting the Tenn offer last month.

Mykel Jones

2016 WR from Nashville A.J. Morris, who holds offers from Tenn and UCLA, said the Vols are on top right now after the visit this week.

A.J. Morris

2015 TN ATH Tyler Black said he hasn't yet received an offer from Tennessee but that he did get some positive words from the coaches during the camp. He says he grew up a Vols fan, so that's a positive if he does get an offer. He also said he may come back later in the week with current '15 commit Jack Jones to camp and work with the coaches a bit more.

TJ Harrell really likes Tennessee and the Vols are in his top three right now.

Chris Lammons really likes Tennessee as well. He thinks very highly of Tennessee. He's not going to do anything soon he says, but the Vols are in a good position to host him on an official visit in the fall. - P. Fortitude
------------------------

Montrell McBride, OL from Florida, had a really nice camp today. No offer yet but wouldn't be surprised to see one coming in near future based off some of the rumblings coming out of the day. - Rob Lewis
------------------------

A lot of the guys are staying over night or will be in tomorrow so we'll catch up with more guys then. There were a number of 2015 guys that walked away with Tennessee offers today from camp and we've mentioned some already another to add is Kendrick Norton of Tampa. There were actually a lot of top Tampa area guys in town today.

A 2014 offer of note was Neiko Creamer's teammate, Freddy Canteen. He can play either side of the ball, either receiver or safety.
