I don't watch the NBA, so don't know what it takes to get there early as well as some of you.

So I will ask, what year do these guys leave, if they leave early:

Ramar Smith
Wayne Chism
Duke Crews (thinking he is a 4 yearer, but not certain)

you are right about duke crews, i think he plays 4 years. ramar may leave after next year if he lights it up, chism is here until after his junior year at least.

I'd say Smith is the only guy who will have a chance to go early...it's still too early to tell.

Chism has potential with his size and the range on his jumper.

smith can be really really good but he has definately got to work on his FT and shooting...he could be deadly..

Smith won't leave next year because his numbers wont be as good as long as Jajuan and Lofton are here. I wouldn't be surprised if he left after his junior season though.

Ramar doesn't shoot the ball well enough to make a leap to the NBA(after next year). He needs to polish his game, he plays here all 4 years but maybe he could leave after Junior year. He's got the right coach to get him there.

I don't think Rajon Rondo had the best shot in the world when he was drafted, either.

My prediction on Ramar is he's gonna work his a** off all offseason with that block in the back of his mind the whole time, and come out totally on fire next year.

None leave early.

None of the players you mentioned would be drafted in the first 3 rounds and it just isn't worth the risk of leaving before they are noticed. We don't want a Morris -- faxgate on our hands at UT, do we?

I agree. None leave early. Ramar Smith, Wayne Chism, and Duke Crews are all four-year type players.

you never know with them, they all show great ability and played significant minutes as freshman. I think they all have enough talent to make the NBA some day and it just depends on how fast they develope. I'd say R. Smith would be the one most likely to leave early but no earlier than after 3 years, then Chism then Crews.

who will you have next year arent they all leaving

They should be gone. Theoretically we could have all the key guys back -- Noah, Horford, etc. But let's face facts. They have nothing left to prove and now they are risking serious dollars by sticking around. The only nonstarters seeing significant time for UF are Richards and Speights. Speights will be back, but he's basically Bradshaw with a quicker first step. Hardly the sort of guy that leads UF to a S16.

all the players leaving make the coach go to 'Tucky

Assuming Noah, Horford, Brewer, and Green declare-- Florida will be a very young team next season, but will still be very talented. With Chandler Parsons, Adam Allen, Nick Calathes, and Alex Tyus coming in this recruiting class-- the Gators will still be in the hunt for the SEC East title.

They will have an extremely difficult time beating us in either game we play agianst them next year. Heck they had a tough time beating us with the players they have now.

there are only 2 rounds in the nba draft unless i am mistaken. i don't think ramar smith will leave next year, but if he continues to progress and develops more of a perimeter game, anything is possible. i can't see him sticking it out for 4 years though.

I think it's possible for any 3 of them to leave after there junior year. The only one that has a chance to leave next year would be Ramar.

i agree with law on this one, i believe we have a couple players that could mold into nba prospects after 4 years but i dont believe we have any current players that are able to leave college early for the NBA and be effective... all of our current players will stay four years
