UT Basketball - Proving us all wrong!

You don't have to go far on this basketball message board to find negative posts/threads about Pearl's coaching abilities or players such as Prince, Woolridge, McBee, Maze, etc.

Well they are all proving us wrong!

1. CBP and the staff have done a great job the last three games considering we are down 4 players.

2. JP Prince is playing his best basketball of his career right now.

3. Woolridge has proven that he can play and is putting up solid stats.

4. McBee is worthy of a scholarship. He has hit clutch shots the last 3 games and plays very hard.

5. Without B. Maze's play against Kansas we don't win that game. He is much improved from last year and is scoring some also. He is the key to us being the best that we can be.

Yea but unless pearl takes this team to the final four all these negavols are gonna insist that he is a bad coach. I mean If you cant be in the top 4 of over 300 teams than you obviously need to find another profession and we need to get a new coach. Who cares that Pearl revived this program and we have been consistently ranked and our teams give max effort and were beating the top ranked teams in the country.

If Pearl cant take us to the final Four we should run him out of town!

Right HAT and other pearl haters?

Very happy with the way our guys are playing. Can't really ask for more considering the circumstances they been put into by a bunch of selfish thugs.

Pearl's style of play has changed considerably from his first year to this year. The team looks really good on the floor with better defense and fewer desperation tactics.

Critics of Pearl seem to have a short memory as far as how awful the team was for many, many years before he came. If he leaves, we'll be sorry (other than HAT, that is).

For some reason it has been addition by subtraction. They're just playing smarter basketball right now.

these last 4 games more than most in the past two years and as much as some way more important games in the past. It's been great, IMO. I guess proving me wrong agrees with me...and they have.:clapping:

I love it! They are playing really sound as a team right now! I hope they can maintain the high level of intensity going forward. I do think Hopson needs to be more active on a regular basis. He has the potential to be very special and has shown signs of it at times. Chism has really impressed me with the way he has carried the team during this stretch. He is truly the senior leader on the team and gives his all every game. GO VOLS
