UT B-Ball starter Injured?

Just heard something on the news that Jordan Howell was injured in practice today and had to have x-rays on his hand? Anyone know any more info on this? If we had to lose a starter he would be the guy that we would miss the least, but anyone know anymore about this?

Isn't he past being redshirted? Think he has played to many games, right?:dunno: Jujuan would be bad choice for point. I think Lofton played point in H.S. Probably more likely to see Dane if Marques can't go.

CBP said they are planning on redshirting him this year unless he is needed in an emergency situation.

Johnson won't be receiving that redshirt now. Hopefully Ramar has gotten alot better since Howell was starting.

It looks like they are still trying to hold on to that redshirt for Marques Johnson, even though Jordan Howell is out 6-8 weeks, and Tony Passley seems to have been taken out of the rotation. Depth was a strength of ours - now you kinda wonder. Dane will probably have to help handle the ball more, and Wayne and Duke will probably have to play some together - both of which are o.k., but with Dane helping to play some at a guard spot, if there is any foul trouble from these three (Dane, Wayne, & Duke), our inside lack of depth will show up even more.
