that's not a bad drop considering who we lost to and how we lost. hopefully they'll be building blocks for another 7-8 game winning streak leading into sec play. USC is very good and we'll have to shoot and play alot better to beat them.

It's like no one noticed that we lost to Charlotte. Everybody and their mother was talking about the upset loss to Oakland. I say we drop to 18 with that loss alone almost. If we lost to Oakland one week and then to Charlotte another, we'd be out of the top 25. Pretty interesting, but I'll take it.

Everyone has bad shooting nights. Do you think everyone with a vote in the polls watches every single game? I'm saying if the deficit would have been worse than 1 point, I could have seen us lower in the polls. Hell, the "play" drawn up as the lost shot pretty much told me that Pearl wasn't completely in the game that night. The players weren't either.

I just don't get how we could beat Nova and Pitt, then lose to Oakland and Charlotte. I pin it on lack of focus by the coaching staff and a young team.

Really, #18 is about where I expected us to be ranked throughout the season anyway. Hopefully we'll understand the importance of ALL our games and not just the primo match-ups.
