UT and Nebraska

Are we in the same boat? They had a different route to where they are now, but the AD has already gotten the boot. Does anyone else think that Hamilton may get it if he refuses to make a switch? There are only so many years that you give punishment by no extension or raise.

My biggest concern is that we have an outsider as UT President. Does he really have more sway than Fulmer?

Hamilton looks brilliant with the hire of Bruce Pearl. That will give some time before he's on the hotseat.

Hamilton is safe because of his hire of Bruce Pearl, and the fire he has brought back to the basketball program.

As for UT and Nebraska, I think it's safe to say that the Huskers are in far worse condition at the moment. Though things may be looking up now that Osbourne is back.

Hamilton better walk a fine line here. Its the type of move that could cost him for not acting. IF he makes a bad hire it will still cost him. He is in about as tough a position as someone can be in. I have no sympathy for him though as he should have already made some sort of change. He deserves whatever comes his way.
