UT and FSU still not ranked in new AP poll, Iowa jumps to 17th.

Yes we may have to win both, but regardless the only rankings that really matter are the net and rpi.
Furthermore, rankings in November don't mean that much. I would rather move in and up the top 25 as the season goes on than moving down and out of the rankings (as per last season).

The LVs have many games against ranked opponents on the schedule so they can control their ranking destiny.

Plenty of strong NET rankings in that SEC schedule. Especially later in the year. Somewhat plays into the LVs game plan for year one. 😉🤙🏼🧡

I’m really interested to see how Caldwell adjust. I have no doubt Latson and Timpson will carve that press. Does she adjust or does she stick to her system?!

Me personally, I’m just not sold on it yet, it gives up too many open shots, but I hope it causes absolute hell Wednesday night!!!

This oversight just adds more fuel to THE BIG ORANGE FIRE.
UT will demolish Iowa, who is still slow and not very athletic. Richmond will hang around in the first half, maybe. FSU will be a nice test however, and I expect the LV’s to win by 15 in that one. None of those three have much quality depth and each will burn through their fuel tanks by the mid third quarter.

Some of you keep forgetting the secret sauce that UT uses on its recipes, which is waves of quality depth that can only be countered effectively by squads that can run 8-10 deep in quality players. And those opposing players better be high percentage shooters, because UT will shoot 20+ more shots than most teams.

Currently, the only worry I would have for UT is in a game where they go ice cold from three, because almost 50% of their shots come from behind the arc. I’m talking super ice cold, because even with low % from three, Caldwell’s system is designed to overcome that with volume of shots. Like I said, the opposing team has to really shoot well to hang in there with that handicap built in.

Actually AP and Coaches polls mean absolutely nothing and have no effect on any teams abilty to make the post season or where they will be seeded. Our overall schedule will be top ten again you can't play Iowa, UConn, LSU twice, Texas, SC, and Oklahoma and not have a top ten schedule.

100 percent agreement. Also, include Ole Miss, Kentucky and Alabama. All ranked teams, they are not pushovers.
