I don't think this one's gonna be close guys with the bye week we had. They have played eight games in a row, including their last two against physical Ds. They are a beaten down and we are a lot better than people think and healthier than we ever have been this year with our receivers back in full stride. Monte two weeks to gameplan and Mcelroy will feel the pressure big time. This one is for you Crompton, though I think Hardesty tears up that D for 150 +. Can't wait. UT football is officially back.

We wouldn't score 38 points if we played 3 games against them and you added up all our scores.

Every post I've ever seen from this guy has been completely out there.

I'd love to see this, but I don't think it'll be that high scoring...

I'm not quite ready to say we are "officially back." As i've said, the equation is quite simple when it comes to SEC play.

If Crompton plays well, we win. If he doesn't, we don't. That's really how it's been all year. We have a dangerous running game, but we have to establish a passing game to open it up. Our defense is great, and we can stop the run. I don't see Bama throwing much on us, just because we probably have the best secondary in the SEC and he's a rookie QB, so we can stop the run, and then our secondary guard against the big play.

I think the bye week helps us, but it's gonna come down to how good is the O-line and the receiver/QB connection.

This guy was the one who had the vision that Scroggins would be a Vol. I credit nothing to him anymore.

Hey man I'm with ya on this one. I was telling all the Carolina fans at work last week that Bama was going down but it would be on the 24th not the 17th. I hope Crompdaddy plays as well as he did in the UGA game. Go Vols!!!

The only way we win this game is if the score is very low. Like a total of 21 points. We can only win if this ends up being a defensive grudge match. We will score no more than 14. So we need to keep them below that.

Okay, Crunch...here's a crazy prediction for you. I predict that....if we score more points than Bama...we will win.
