USM fan used UT to taunt UF fans yesterday

As many of you know, Florida puts the visitors' section next to the home students, which makes little sense to me. Anyway, some UF students started waving their keys at some departing USM fans in the 4th Qtr yesterday. A USM fan confronted a UF student about it, and after that I could only hear the UF student's half of the conversation, but it was enough. He said something like, "You went from '7-0,' to talking about Tennessee...Why do you have to live vicariously through other teams?"

I think he is saying that a USM fan told a Gator something to the effect of, "Well, yeah, you beat us, but Tennessee is going to kick your tail". All just because that USM fan saw the Cal-TN score, and thats why the Gator fan came back at the USM fan with, "Why do you have to live vicariously through other teams?"

Sounds fabricated . . . a Florida fan would never use a multisyllable word like "vicariously".

Just a Florida fan ripping on a Southern Miss one. Which is like kicking a small dog. But, if the USM fan started it...

Yeah, the USM fan must have said something like, "Well, have fun with UT." Maybe it wasn't a big deal, but I thought it was funny when it happened.
