SC has a mentality about their football program like many SEC schools have. It's about winning championships or getting gone. Helton was never going to be that guy, no need to carry on the misery any longer. The AD he came in under, Lynn Swann, was fired a few months back. The new AD owes Helton nothing. It would surprise me not he gets fired right after the bowl game.

Hindsight is 20/20 but a lot of fans and boosters prolly realize they fired Kiffin too soon (too soon meaning that it shouldn't have been done at that time).....

After all the sanctions and scholly reductions, Kiffin's 28-15 record doesn't look so bad considering what came after with Sark..... Especially since they didn't hire Coach O

I'm not joking or trashing USC, but they should offer a big payday to Harbaugh and get him out of Big 10...... No reason to think he wouldn't win at USC with less competition in the Division and Conference........
